Joe Penhall

Co-owner

A regular day for me consists of me meeting with new and potential customers to discuss what they would like us to do for them. My favorite part of my job is leaving a project that we have beautified and knowing that they will get to enjoy a new perspective of their home the day after we leave. My advice to anyone getting started on a remodeling project is to research the products you are considering and ask lots of questions.  Getting exactly what you want and making sure those products live up to your expectations is key.  So if you're hesitant to get started on a project my advice to you is just to do it and know when it's all over its more than worth the disruption.

Tony Brooks

Co-owner

As the co-owner of the company my days can be pretty unpredictable but are always rewarding. I have been with hōm kitchen + bath and bath for about eight years, and I have 21 years of field experience. My favorite part of the job is hands down seeing client’s reactions to their newly renovated space. If I were to advise potential clients, it would be to take the time to make sure you get exactly what you want out of the remodel. It’s an investment, so you want to get it right, so you won’t have to do it again for a long time. Remodeling revamps your home and adds a new burst of energy into the living space making it a worthwhile investment.

Dana Babbs

Design Associate

Each day at hōm kitchen + bath is always different and exciting. From exploring new tile, quartz, granite and cabinetry options. To helping our Customers envision their perfect living spaces. The environment is fun and friendly.  I've been with the company for a year, but I have had an overall of 19 years in the new construction/interior design/remodel business. My tip for getting started on a remodeling project is to Select a design concept that you love and stick to it. Too many outside influences are BAD! My one peice of advice is to ask for a quote that includes all of your wants. Then you can get a true picture of the investment. You can always adjust from there.

Business Development Representative

As the business development representative I work with builders, retail, commercial and remodel customers all day and I love it. I enjoy the result and seeing how happy the customers are with the choices that I help them make. I am also always looking for new stone and quartz to offer to our customers. We prioritize customizability here so we can usually meet everyone's needs while staying within their budget. I have been with hōm kitchen + bath for nine years and I have 14 years of experience in the world of stone. My advice to potential clients is just to do it! It will be like you are in a brand new home.

CAD Programmer

As the CAD Programmer for hōm kitchen + bath, I get the luxury of putting my hands on every single counter top that we produce. A typical day for me is spent writing programs to fabricate our customer's counter tops using our Northwood CNC and Sasso 5-Axis CNC Bridge Saw. I am very fortunate to work in such a fast paced, large scale fabrication shop that keeps me on my toes learning and allows me to help us improve and expand our craftsmanship every day!

Office & Accountant Manager

In addition to being the office manager for The Glass Company, I also manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for hōm kitchen + bath. Working here is exciting because each day affords a new opportunity to solve a problem for our customers. I have been working in the construction industry for almost 10 years now and I love the challenge of finding solutions to perfectly solve the needs of our customers. Potential clients of ours should expect to be greeted by a friendly group of people, who are using the best tools and materials, and who are working for them and for their home!

Scott Heranney

Project Manager

My father was a custom builder in rural Mississippi and I worked for him throughout my childhood and into college. Since getting my degree I have worked 9 years in an engineering capacity designing high voltage power transmission lines, and I have worked 6 years self employed in the residential construction industry. Residential construction/carpentry has been in my family for generations. I truly enjoy this type of work, and always felt I would remain in the field throughout my career. I honestly feel it is in my blood to do this type of work. Come into our showroom and see our product and talk to our people, you won't regret it!

Inventory Manager

I have been with hōm kitchen + bath for eight years and have been in the interior design industry for 14 years. While I used to handle many design and customer relation duties within the company, I have transitioned into a role of inventory management and handling special projects. This new role fits well with my part-time work schedule, as I balance my career with raising two young children.

I love knowing that the work we do has such a huge impact on individuals and families. Our homes are such substantial fixtures in our lives. So much of our time is spent there – resting, parenting, entertaining, etc. Our homes should be positive places where we can create memories with family and friends. If there's something in your home that bothers you, take the steps toward creating the space you really want. Give us a call or stop by our showroom! We at hōm kitchen + bath are here to help!
